Zahara Jolie~Pitt
Zahara Marley Jolie~Pitt was born on January 8, 2005 in Ethiopia. She was originally named “Vemsrach”, later at an orphanage she was given the legal name “Tena Adam”.
Angelina Jolie adopted her on July 6, 2005 from Wide Horizons For Children Orphanage in Addis Ababa. Brad Pitt was present when Angelina signed the adoption papers, later Jolie indicated that she and Brad made the decision to adopt Zahara together. On January 19, 2006, a California judge approved Pitt’s request to legally adopt both Maddox and Zahara. Their surnames were formally changed to “Jolie~Pitt”.
She has siblings Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne Jolie~Pitt. Grandparents are Bill & Jane Pitt, Jon Voight, & the late Marcheline Bertrand. Aunt is Julie Neal Pitt. Uncles are Doug Pit and James Haven.
