Jon Voight talks about his visit with the Jolie~Pitts in Venice, Italy
According to UsMagazine, Jon Voight did an exclusive phone interview with them from Venice, Italy.
Jon Voight, 71, the father of beauty Angelina Jolie has had an estranged relationship with his daughter for many years. The two were recently seen together in Venice with Brad Pitt and Brad and Angelina’s six children.
Jon Voight raved about spending “his holiday” with his daughter and her family. “It’s nice to have something that’s positive!” He also mentioned their boat ride down the ancient city’s Grand Canal stating it was “Lovely. The weather wasn’t so bad for the journey. It’s a very beautiful trip. A lot of fun.”
When discussing his six grandchildren, he did mention a specific blonde, blue eyed beauty. “I have baby pictures that are very resembling of Shiloh. I don’t know about all the resemblances, but obviously there are some because of the genes.”
He mentioned he would love to visit the family again while they stay in Venice. “I love the possibility of spending time with the family. It’s a very beautiful thing.”
Of course the interview had to go to the relationship of Brad and Angelina, asking “Jolie and Pitt are doing fine? Yes?” Jon Voight answered “Exactly right! Of course they are! You can see!”
I have to admit, I was a little shocked when I heard that he had done an interview so quickly. I am so happy that Angelina and her father look to have mended their relationship, however, I hope that Jon does not do too many of these interviews and upset Angelina again. She is a very private person and many of the rumors about the father/daughter estranged relationship was because of his past interviews and speaking about Jolie.
