Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Both Place High on the Empire’s “Sexiest Movie Stars” List

Not a big surprise to anyone, both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie placed very high on the Empire’s“Sexiest Movie Stars” list. Ummm duh! Of course they did!
Although neither one of them got the top number one spot, they both placed in the top five. Angelina came in second place, beat by Megan Fox. Brad Pitt placed fourth with Robert Downey Jr. in third, Robert Pattinson in second place, and the top position going to Johnny Depp.
Angelina Signs Deal for New Movie

Rumors of Angelina Jolie stepping into the spot to replace Charlize Theron in the upcoming movie “The Tourist” is looking more and more like reality instead of rumor.
Jolie recently flew into LA from France to meet with movie producers and it looks like a possible contract has been signed.
The movie is a remake of cult 2005 French thriller Anthony Zimmer which tells the story of a female agent on the hunt for an elusive ex-boyfriend. Originally, both Charlize Theron and Tom Cruise were signed to star in the project.

George Clooney Jokes that he Plans to Adopt Some of Brad Pitt’s Children
This has become an ongoing joke with George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Recently, George Clooney stated ”I am planning to adopt. I am going to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids. I owe him.
George Clooney has previously revealed that he has no plans to become a father, but spends time with Brad, Angelina, and their large brood whenever he feels lonely, stating ”Even one kid running around my villa makes me nervous, so I’m definitely not a candidate for father of the year. If I need to surround myself with children and feel like I have this big extended family, I can always call Brad and Angelina and ask them to stay with me, just to remind myself why I’m so happy.”
I find it so funny when George Clooney and Brad Pitt are doing some good old joking with their pranks and silly comments. Their constant ridiculous comments to the press are just hilarious. Waiting to hear Brad’s response. Eventually he will have one. It seems they have a great friendship.

Finally, another sighting of Brad and Angelina’s twins!
Brad and Angelina visited Iraqi refugees in Syria as part of Jolie’s work as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR. During their trip, they took some time out for their own family. Brad and Angelina took their 14 month old twins, Knox and Vivienne, to Licky Licious ice cream shop in Amman, Jordan, and a fan snapped their photo and posted it on Twitter. Reports stated that Jolie,33, ordered mango ice cream and Pitt, 45, chose pecan and caramel.
The twins are so cute and getting really big. Great to see them out and about!
Brad Pitt and President Bill Clinton Speak at the Clinton Global Initiative
As expected, Brad Pitt did speak at the Clinton Global Initiative in September. He shared some exciting news on the accomplishments of “Make It Right”.
According to Brad, the average electricity bill for one of the “Make It Right” homes that is already done…is actually lower than $35.00 per month! That is shocking and amazing!
Brad also shared that the cost is dropping on building the eco-friendly homes and that after the first 150 are built, the other homes should cost as much as a standard home. This is such exciting news! Love that “Make It Right” is such a success. For people who enjoy bad mouthing Brad and Angelina….they really don’t see the very good side in them and what they do for so many.
This picture of President Bill Clinton is so funny to me! What do you suppose he is thinking? I look at this and imagine him saying to himself… “How did this happen? What the heck is wrong with our government….that it takes a celebrity to help all these people in need, fix the awful mess of this natural disaster (Katrina) and get the attention of the world?”
Brad and Angelina Shopping for Pets with Maddox and Pax
This is what I love about this couple. They do normal ordinary things that all parents do! Going shopping for pets at the pet store. Taking the kids out and about for some fun shopping. It is great to see them out without their bodyguards and enjoying life. They often comment about how they can be more relaxed in France. This is great….especially for the kids!
Brad, Still “Making It Right”

A meeting is planned for this Thursday in New York City with the “Clinton Global Initiative” (CGI). Years ago, Clinton stated “I started CGI in 2005 to help turn good intentions into real actions and results”. Bill Clinton claims that after attending thousands of meetings during his career in which urgent needs were discussed but no action was taken to solve them, he saw a need to establish a new kind of meeting with an emphasis on results…..therefore, welcome the “Clinton Global Initiative”. Many celebrities as well as world leaders are expected to be in attendance on Thursday. Always interesting to see the celebrities get involved with these kinds of projects and meetings. Angelina Jolie Visits Kenya
Recent news about Angelina Jolie reports that she has quietly slipped off to do more work with the UNHCR. This time to visit Kenya, what she refers to as “one of the most dire” refugee camps that she has ever seen. Not sure if any of you are familiar with Angelina Jolie’s book “Notes From My Travels”….I have read it. Great book, easy reading, alarming, heartwarming, and shocking all at the same time. Many places that she visited, she describes so well and they sound awful, so I can’t imagine how much worse that makes the Dadaab camp near the Kenya-Somali border.
In her book, and in articles from the UN, there is often stories of the refugess and how shocking it is…the kindness that they have for one another under such horrible circumstances and conditions. Angelina discusses this in the video (link is below) saying that the Somali families have been so generous with each other….sharing the very little amount of supplies that they have…to the point where they end up living on 1/8 of the water they should have. It’s one of the few heartening things in this situation, to see people coming together in such a crisis to help others in need as much as they can.
The video also shows Angelina soothing a Somali baby while learning of their dehydration and depleted health concerns. She is so gracious and it is always wonderful to see her interacting with the babies and small children. It has to be so hard to watch the children in those awful conditions.
At the end of the video, Angelina says she wishes more people could meet these Somali refugee families because then maybe more people would want to help.
Such a heartwarming and sad video…but this is what I love about Brad and Angelina. They are really trying to make a difference. They are really trying to help. I know there are a lot of celebrities out there who give lots of money, but how many of them give of their time like this? I think it is wonderful that they bring such awareness to us. For some critics out there who say “why don’t they do more for people here in the United States?” Don’t forget about the “Make it Right” foundation that Brad has started in New Orleans. Are you a fan of Brad and Angelina? I am excited about this new blog! Love them or hate them….people are interested in them. Celebrity life is fun to read about and being a mother of four children, I am one who enjoys hearing about celebrities with their families. What better celebrity family to read about then the one with SIX children, so far! (Brad and Angelina have made it no secret….they want more children.)
Just to make it clear, because I am a Jolie Pitt fan, does not make me a Jennifer Aniston hater and I don’t want this blog to be about hating Jennifer and loving Angelina. There is a lot of negative press out there about the Jolie Pitts, this site is being created to be positive. Showing them with their travels, parenting, and of course their charities.
