Back in November of 2009, Jon Voight, 70, told US Weekly, “We’re in touch, but not regularly. We love each other and that’s the most important thing.”
In another article, a “family friend” shared that in February, the two had met face to face and have been talking ever since. The family friend was quoted as saying “Angie made the inital contact. Brad Pitt has been supportive, a key factor in her reaching out.”
I had read the articles and was hoping there was truth in them, however, this is the same magazine that claims the Jolie Pitt couple fight and are breaking up every other week. So you never know what is actual fact.
I for one was hoping it was true and now today after seeing the pictures of Angie and her dad (smiling so big! Check out the great picture below), we all know they are obviously trying to have a realtionship again.
Great news! I bet the kids are so excited to have a chance to get to know their grandfather. Makes you wonder too, how much Brad had a hand in all of this. Angelina seems so strong and maybe a little stuborn (and I don’t blame her at all!), and Brad seems to be the “peacemaker”. However it happened, it is a true blessing for this family.

Jolie~Pitt’s Amazing New Home in Venice **More Pictures**
Brad and Angelina are staying at the incredible “Palazzo Mocenigo” in Venice. It is located on the Grand Canal between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square. (As you scroll down you will see a map of it’s location.) As we now know, the family has arrived in Venice to get settled so Angelina will be able to start filming her new movie in mid-March.
The Palazzo Mocenigo was lavishly built by the Mocenigo family back in the 16th century. The estate has five bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as a ‘Mezzanino’ Apartment and a “cottage” (perfect for the “staff”). (You can actually arrange to have the Palazzo come with a butler and a chef.) The family who owns the Palazzo also owns the prestigious Bauer Hotel. They also keep the Palazzo Mocenigo available for the visiting wealthy, parties and family reunions.

More great pictures of the Jolie~Pitt family out enjoying Venice. It is wonderful to see them enjoying some family time before Angelina starts work on her new movie “The Tourist” with Johnny Depp. They are due to start filiming in mid March.

This is great! Awesome new pictures of the Jolie~Pitt Family out and about in Venice! I had to take a look at these several times. I can’t even believe that this is Knox! He is so cute and so big! Hard to believe the twins are 19 months old, but in some of these pictures, Knox looks like he is almost three years old!
And little Zahara is too adorable! She always looks like she is a spit-fire doesn’t she? Always so happy, with a look of a bit mischievous! I remember when Angelina was quoted once about Zahara saying “She’s definitely the biggest personality in the house.” And you can see it in every photo of her! I bet she keeps Brad and Angelina on their toes!

New Pictures of the Twins and the Jolie~Pitt Family in Venice.
Jolie~Pitt’s Go Trick-Or-Treating
Family Time for the Jolie~Pitts! No better way to do it then to go trick-or-treating with the kids on Halloween night. And not just go trick-or-treating, but actually participate by mom and dad dressing up too! Gotta love it! If you are a fan that is!
And what did everyone wear?
Dressed in bright orange clad, Brad was DJ Lance Rock from the Nick Jr. show Yo Gabba Gabba! Angie was less colorful in her gray hair in a bun and fake blood on the side of her face.
Maddox, 8 years old, and Shiloh, 3 years old, dressed in camouflaged. No big surprise here, Maddox has often dressed in camouflage and if memory serves me right, he had a “military-like-style” birthday party years ago. As for Shiloh, she does seem to be quite the tom boy, so wanting to dress like big brother is a fit!
However, sweet girly girl Zahara, 4 years old, was more of a shock to me. She wore what appears to be a store-bought Batgirl costume. Really cute, of course, but I figured she would be wearing a princess gown of some kind.
Although there are no pictures, Pax, 5 years old, was also there, but twins Vivienne and Knox, 15 months, were not present.
Overall, I was impressed they got to go out like a regular family and enjoy the fun holiday!
Brad and Angelina Shopping for Pets with Maddox and Pax
This is what I love about this couple. They do normal ordinary things that all parents do! Going shopping for pets at the pet store. Taking the kids out and about for some fun shopping. It is great to see them out without their bodyguards and enjoying life. They often comment about how they can be more relaxed in France. This is great….especially for the kids!
